Monday Dec. 22
Yesterday we had a good day at practice. The water was too warm but the boys pushed through. I was impressed with what I saw. This really set the tone for a terrific two weeks. Today is the last day of school for the BD athletes. We will be able to practice with no homework thoughts, or studying to worry about. The future is bright.

It's a long journey...so don't stop believin'!
ReplyDeletei totally 100% agree no homework thoughts!!!
ReplyDeleteI do agree with one kind of thought, however. The thoughts of pain, misery, and incapacitation over the next two weeks. Reporting in from day one of those two "terrific" weeks. Misery enjoys company.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Brian...you have survived day 1...and a good day it was. 21 athletes showed up. We swam through sets we could not have completed last year. The task at hand is not just to survive however...rather to thrive and get stronger. I have every confidence you and your teammates will become better, stronger and faster when this is all said and done. Keep the faith, continue your good work, get your sleep and shovel out Mrs. Potter. Good things come to those who wait...and work hard enough.
